I am buying a pc soon and i am trying to get the most of my money and i found an old computer from early 2000's maybe even late 90s in my basement and i took the CD drive out of it and i am wondering if it will be able to work for just downloading windows 8.1 to my new computer here are the pictures

It's possible but not worth doing but check the motherboard as some older ones 4~5 years ago occasionally included one.
Op just install Windows 8 via USB
