Your stock cooler is going to be fine for your CPU and your GPU cooler is going to keep it cool(if you end up getting a dedicated GPU). Your case will more than likely come with a fan or two which would be fine. Xigyy's our local fan whore though, he's your best bet for fan talk IMO.

Could you show me what kind of case I can use? I want a better looking case that has a window so I can add LEDs inside of the computer case. Thanks in advance. Really looking forward to building the $550 build you suggested.

NZXT S340 is probably your cheapest option for a nice, good quality case with a window. It's super pointless though, especially if you need to sacrifice performance elsewhere to get the S340 within budget. The N200 is a great case and you can put LED fans in it. Don't buy cheap shitty fans just because they have LEDs though.

I really wouldn't go with the S340, it's a nice looking case, but it's flawed. The N200 is a nice case to build in, but looks like the devils anus, that's why i don't own one.

If you're that set on a case/build with a windowed case. Look no further, this is a nice little build to start with.

The NZXT S340 looks sexy a'f. But this build you sent me looks like a nice build, I'll try it.

I've just seen this. Im dissapointed with myself that I dint see this before.

So, the issue with Craigs build is that the BIOS is going to need a flash to even get the thing running. You cant access the BIOS if the PC dont boot which is what its going to do if you build it.

Now, if you really want the side panel, I cant get any better than [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . A little over but as I said, I cant do better. Maybe its because its too early, I don't know.

Personally, Id go with something like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

Depending on the games you want to play, the Intel integrated graphics could be more than enough for your needs.

On such a low budget, you need to look at performance, not looks. You simply cant afford to splash out on nice looking things if your performance is going to suffer.

Id get something boring at first, save up a bit then start to upgrade.

If you don't want any incompatibilities get this.

But on the first build, the e-tailer will flash the BIOS for you prior to shipping. Thta's how my Z87I works with my Haswell Refresh i5.

I'd get this instead;

Cheaper and more powa.

Instead of throwing more money at a case, you get a better GPU and more RAM. Just add an SSD when you can, and you'll have a nice rig. Up to you if you'd prefer to get a nicer case though, but you'd probably want to upgrade a 250x pretty quickly.
