Do find people on TTG that do, so I do. I hunt and fish. Deer, squirrel, turkey, and more. I'm a big time hunter

When I was 12-15 I used to go pheasant hunting out at my uncle's farm. Haven't had the time to go out lately due to work, and my allergies. Plan on going out this year when it's opener again.

I don't like harming animals; so no I don't go hunting.

There are a lot of vegetarians on TTG.
Or do you guys just let other people kill the poor animals and consider it fine to eat the meat since you didn't harm them.
I've been once or twice, but never did the hunting myself.
My best friend is a deer hunter and i plan on tagging along this year.

Nope, never in my life. How did all those get on my tail gate, and what is that hanging in the garage? Oh wait, yep, I hunt. I didn't go out last year because work was insanly busy, I doubt I will go this year either.

I just read every post here and I really don't understand it. It seams like most of the people who don't hunt claim that they "don't like to hurt animals". Get over it, the same process is used when you pick up a steak or some hamburger at the grocery store. When you hunt you know that what you are eating is healthy instead of having half meat and half genetically modified crap. I personally hunt because it costs 60 bucks for a tag and if we get a deer (only got skunked 1 year out of 5) you get about 300+ worth of meat you don't have to buy.
For those of you who do eat meat but don't go hunting because you don't like to hurt animals, please go work on a farm for a week and tell me the meat you buy at the store didn't come from a hurting animal. Also if you know how to shoot a gun or are a proper sportsman, you will not hurt the animal. They generally don't know what is going on. They may be alive for 3 seconds or so when you shoot them before they die.
