Can you boot into safe mode?

Have you made any hardware changes?

Normally, when this happens, I normally whack on a new version of Windows and it works fine there after.

Boot in safe mode and run a program like who crashed and then post the logs here so I can have a look and see the root of the issue.
While you're in safe mode do a system restore to before the issue started to happen.

well then why did you just send a link on how to boot in safe mode

Dude, burn a win 7 iso to a disk and boot from the cd. when you're given two options install a new os or repair, hit repair.
Check your Ram is seated right, or try different ram.
listen to see if your HDD is click or making strange noises
use the built in repair function in windows 8 boot.

Just some additional steps that might help..

Well if you read his post instead of being a smartass. You would see that he isn't able to do it via the shift method or the f8 function. So I provided alternatives
