OT: I'd have to go with Naruto. He's the strongest. This shouldnt even be a question. I won't go into detail for those that haven't read the manga. Itachi was a badass though. Its said he was as strong as Madara but we'd never know since he died young.

It really depends on your definition of "best". Well, in what context anyway. In strength, it's obviously naruto by what we've seen and continue to see. But if it's by opinion on how the character is,
Or who he is, it can be a different story since we all have our opinions.

I personally think the 'best' or in my opinion the 'coolest' character is Sasuke. He act's the whole anime/manga like a badass who doesn't care about the others, just pervading his plans and no one will or can stop him by doing that. The strongest is obviously Naruto, but he doesn't act interesting enough to become my favourite character.I need some kind of a badass, because they are in most cases different than the others and that's what makes them interesting for the audience
