went on to my msi motherboard bios and it said 47 degrees, booted up went straight to speccy and speccy said 107 degrees, wtf ?

I think TJ Max for your 6600k is 100c, so you definitely won't be hitting temperatures over that. Speccy is most likely just displaying incorrect readings, it does that sometimes. Take off your side panel and have a feel inside your case(wave your hand over components, don't start touching everything) and if it seems a little warm, maybe grab a few case fans or a new cooler.

yeah, just like sanctyy said, if put your hand on your case where your CPU would be you should be able to know yourself if something isn't right. i have this problem when playing some CPU intensive games.

I'm certain you're not hitting 107c though. Speccy is just displaying incorrect readings. Download HWMonitor, check temps on that, check temps in your BIOS and have a feel. If you still think temps are a little high for your liking, grab some case fans and/or a new cooler.

just took off the side panel and its not that hot inside but not cold either, the case i just got is the cit vantage so i think it may be that as it is A LOT smaller than my zalman z11+
