I have been getting the two red lights on my Xbox 360 for a while now the first time it happened i was plying Assassins creed i turned it off for a whole day and night and it work for a while till it happened again but this time it didn't work as long and as this keeps going on the time i get to play before it two red rings is getting very short. I know that the two red lights mean overheating but my Xbox is only on for 10-30 minutes before it does this i also have fans on the brick and the back of the console and it is not even getting hot. The fans are getting dusty and i cleaned them off but i am wondering if it got any dust inside of the Xbox could cause this and how i could get the dust out. Please someone respond telling me how to fix this i dont want to send my xbox in again and i dont want to take it apart.

The exact same thing was happening to me, it would red ring after like 10 minutes of game play. It was never hot or anything but Microsoft insisted that it was overheating. In the end result i had to go out and buy a new xbox... (sadly i had no warrenty)

Here is what i did with it until i got my new xbox.

my friends xbox was doing this and i went round to his house and to the cover off it and it was packed with dust so he got out the hover and sucked up the dust and then put the cover back together and it worked fine so you should try it and if that doesnt work i think somthing might have gone wrong with it....
