Hello, I'm having trouble charging my iPhone 5s with the lightning cable. The phone charges okay when im using my charging case and the cable charges the case
I have already tried the trick when you put your phone in airplane mode then turn it off and turn it back on via USB
Here is some info about the battery (if it helps)
Capacity:1469/1550mAh (94.77 oc)
Voltage: 3739mV
Cycles: 247
Temp: 26.9 oc
Charging state: Active
Charging Current: 380 mA
Max Current Rate: 500 mA
I used my charging case to get that info.
Can anyone help ?

I've personally had countless problems with my iPhone 5 charging. Have you tried cleaning your port with a toothpick or Cotten swab? For me the cable would have to be in a certain position for it to charge even after I cleaned the debree out of the port. In fact everybody I know that has an iPhone 5 seems to be having these problems. I got annoyed and sold mine and bought a new iPhone 6 and I haven't had any problems sense.
Odds are it's not your battery. Your charging case may fit into your phone nice and snug in just the right way that it charges your phone when your cable might not be snug.
My suggestion.
1. Try to clean the charging port.
2. Don't dont buy an iPhone 5 haha.

It's probably your chargers. Try a new one and make sure the port is clean.

Hi I'm only 14 I have a 5c and had those problems but I went into a shop and saw a cool new charger which I then bought and I have lost all the problems I think it must be the factory charger as my family all have the 5 and had this problem up till about a week ago
Hope I helped
