So I'm currently taking my driving lessons and I'm looking for a first car for around £2500, and I'm not made of money so bare in mind the insurance prices for new drivers.
Thanks for any suggestion!

1. 1.4 is the lowest engine size if I can remember.
2. There easily modified and are seen to insurance company's that the person will mod it.

Don't focus on social status if you have been.
Nothing too fancy obviously, maybe a Volkswagen, Honda, etc.
It's your first car, there's always room for improvement.

Civics are very cheap on Gas, Insurance and very cheap to get replacement parts i would go for that. My friend pays around $55 a month. i drive a 2010 Ford Fusion SE and im only 16 but i pay $100 a month so he gets it cheap because hes 16 too.

best sticking with a 1.1 for the first while to be honest. And that price range is pretty expensive for a first car. I know you will want a cool first car but trust me until you have been driving around for a while your best with something cheap & second hand.
edit;
quoted the wrong post haha, Dont know what litre a saxo is.
