bdgr wrote Well thats what happens when you do awful at school.

its nothing to do with school you could have the best qualitfications from school youll find a job doesnt mean youll get better than minimum wage no companies want to splash cash for man labouring hours.
also the minimum wage in the uk should go to £8.20 by the end of 2016

The cost of living has gone up, the minimum wage hasn't gone up to match the current cost of living.

McDonalds workers getting $15/hr wouldn't be ridiculous as your wage would also go up to account for the "cost of living".

If only 'Working' and 'Failure' weren't complete opposites.

Sigh another one of these.

McDonalds employees have no education, I.E no future unless they try.

You NEED TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE HOUSING MARKET OF THE AREA. You can't just hate on them if they're in Boston which can be upwards to 1,400$ a month depending on where you're at.

Once again, People just blindly following stereotypes they read on facebook, what makes you think all McDonalds employees have no education?

Having worked in a Fast food restaurant for the past 3 years, I can assure you this isn't true.

The reason so many school leavers work in fast food, is not because there failures, have no grades or skills or whatever crap pages on facebook come up with, like myself, it's simply because it's the only places that will hire a student with no prior work experience.
