I'm not sure which one to buy, both seems very good and hard to decide which one to choose.

I only own DayZ and to be honest it's not great, I've only played around 10 hours and I have had it for a month or two. The developers haven't updated the game in a long time and they really need to since it is fairly buggy.
I would suggest getting H1Z1 since it seems a lot funner because it has gamemodes on like Battle Royale and it is a newer game and they do update it quite often plus it's cheaper than DayZ.

I will give my honest opinion since I own both.
DayZ is sure a fun game but is let down by the constant bugs. On the other hand H1Z1 is really fun and you can play battle royale without having to download any mods.
When I play H1Z1 the environment feels very repetitive (towns, objects and caravan sites look very similar)
The ability to build bases and craft things in H1Z1 is brilliant though. I would go for H1Z1 as it is more stable and you can maybe get DayZ in summer sale?

DONT GET H1Z1!
Its full of hackers!
Mixed reviews and everyone in the reviews claims hacking.
Also the game has little to no security at all.

I just bought H1Z1 last night, and I've had DayZ for a while now.
I like DayZ a lot better at the moment. There's more to do and a lot more gear, guns, supplies, etc...But if you're trying to get a game where you can meet with someone in game and try to team with them, don't get DayZ, because basically everybody kills on sight.
I believe that in the future H1Z1 will completely destroy DayZ because they seem to be updating it a lot with newer items and bug fixes, but right now I don't think that's it's worth it. Plus when it fully releases it'll be free anyway.
EDIT: both games are still buggy
