While I do think we will find alien life eventually, these predictions are meaningless.
Obviously as time goes on it will become more likely that we will find alien life [so long as we continue looking.]
This article should be re-worded as, 'We will put a probe on Ganymede by 2025' and somewhere in the article about that it should say '...and micro-organisms may be found there.'

But they know that people love hearing about aliens, so they keep shelling out these predictions for when we'll find alien life, when it should be obvious to everyone that we will find alien life when we find alien life.

The aliens that we think of are so stereotypical, I'm glad they cleared up that it wasn't going to be little green men but little green microbes.

tbh i hope we find life on different planets and starting making new life's their, It would take along time to get people their and back though. +It would take even longer building homes etc.
