SSD 128GB, i5 4460, maybe case, PSU won't hurt, then save up a bit more till you can get a gtx 970.

Depends. What are you wanting to gain from an upgrade? That GPU is pretty much perfect for 1080pp gaming so you may not need/want to upgrade GPU. CPU upgrade wouldn't really hurt but if you're not going to benefit from it, you may prefer to just hold on to your money. I'd change that PSU asap though, and I'd personally change the case. You'll benefit from adding an SSD as well.

Okay, Thanks. And do you have any input on the exact parts you've suggested? Just curious.

Well, 120GB Samsung 850-EVO is pretty cheap right now, you could get that;

or you could get the 250GB model;

As for CPU, that Haswell refresh i3 is compatible so I'm assuming yourmotherboard's BIOS is up to date. If not, update it and you could get one of these CPUs if you wish;

Your current i3 is a 2 core, 4 thread CPU. The i5 is a 4 core, 4 thread CPU, and the Xeon is a 4 core, 8 thread CPU. The i5 will be more than enough for gaming, but if your i3 is doing you well for now, you may not need/want to upgrade. The Xeon would be beneficial for stuff that utilizes hyperthreading, such as editing/rendering and similar tasks. There are many PSUs. You could get a budget unit, which will still be good or you can spend a significant amount more for a better rated, more efficient unit. XFX, SeaSonic, SuperFlower and EVGA G2 units are all good. For case, there are several options, depending on what you're looking for and how much you're willing to spend.
