"The latest Google Chrome release drops support for the Java plug-in required to play RuneScape. As such, it is no longer possible to play RuneScape in the Chrome browser.

In April 2015, support for the Java plug-in you use to play RuneScape will be removed from Google Chrome.

Your browser will update automatically and you will be unable to use the new version to play the game.

To continue playing, install the RuneScape game client. We recommend doing this now so that you do not experience any interruptions."

I usually play on the Chrome Browser, so I frankly don't like Chrome doing this... But I heard the client is less laggy and such.

It's mainly because Java is insecure and well it kinda blows.

Just use the downloadable clients.

I don't play much 07 RS. I stick to RS3 as I find that game much more diverse. I do have OsBuddy but don't use it often.
