What Does Gaming Mean To You?

I highly enjoy gaming because its like another world. a new life i suppose. its something to get away from all the drama and problems i have in my life. if anything gaming has probably saved me so much time. dealing with drama is a time waster. parents have no clue what gaming can do for us. they say its wasting time i say it makes our life better (:

For me, gaming is a way to get away from all the stress and daily going-ons, kick back and just pwn a few noobs.

It's nice to team up with a few mates, go grind a few rifts on Diablo. Go play a game or two of CS:GO competitive.

It gives me something to do in my spare time. I hate that the majority of people just watch mind-numbing television, it's so boring and unengaging.
Playing games allows me to communicate with people and use my brain constantly.

Whether it's thinking of on-the-fly strategy to win the match, thinking of a logical way to complete a level or trying to get a new highscore on a game.

I love to game alone on a game of Call of Duty on Free for All as I can scream like crazy all I want when I die without my friends annoying me and putting me off my game. I have been gaming since I was 7 and I cannot believe how much it has grown on me, it is a necessity! It lets me escape from all the bad people in the world that cause me stress and anxiety. I truly LOVE gaming.

Gaming is something that I have always done since I was little and it is a way for me to come home from school and unwind for a bit while also having fun. It is also something that lets me and my friends that live far away from each other still hang out together online and have fun even when they are not around. Gaming is something more than just wasting time to me, it is and always has been a lot of fun.

just expanding off of what you said depending on what games I play they can be a way to get away, everyone has something they go to to get away from everything, their go to hobby if you will. I like having games be different worlds, worlds that although unrealistic seem better than our own and in which I have tons of fun with experiences in those worlds. They put you in a lot of situations that you would never come across in reality and that's extremely cool to me. Also gaming has just helped me in life in general, living out characters lives on games almost gives you life experience (in a sense).

I use gaming as a stress reliever.

Because living to work is not a way to live life, so why not kick my feet up and play a game once in a while.

When i game i feel as if i am achieving something really huge and it is a way to stop stress and to talk to my friends. also it is fun to meet players from all over the world on a little machine, it is pretty impressive.

I have been gaming since I was 6 years old playing on my ps2. Gaming lets me relieve from stress and I suffer highly from anxiety and gaming takes my mind off all problems going on in the world and lets me basically just go into another world where I can just chill and relieve my anxieties. Gaming has made my life 1000x easier and it's annoying that a lot of people don't understand this.
But oh well
