Hey people. I'll try to make this short and sweet. So basically, I live with my brother. We've had a PS4 for a while now and we really enjoy it. But lately I've been looking into getting an Xbox One. And by lately I mean a good year. I talked to my brother about it and he told me that I can do whatever I want, but he doesn't see the point in having both next-gen consoles. He's not as big of a gamer as I am, and I'd probably use the Xbox One more than I use the PS4, which is nearly everyday for quite some time.

So here's what I would do:

Xbox One - Multiplayer games

PS4 - Sports and/or story mode games

Another thing to note as well, most of my friends have both next-gen consoles and are always telling me to get XB1.

We also already have this figured out: I pay for Xbox LIVE Gold, and he pays for PS Plus (if he needs it,) just so neither of us argue over who has to pay for what.
Money isn't necessarily an issue, either.

It depends what you wanna do with them. I have had the PS4 since release day and just 3 days ago i bought an XBOX 1 from my buddy and the reason i did it is for exclusives such as Smite, Neverwinter, and Halo ect.... But other than that i personally like PS4 for my main. And memberships i would recommend if you are going to get them both just buy the one years it saves u a ass load of money in the long run.

I have both and I think it's worth it. Both consoles have a lot of good exclusives.

In the end it's going to be your choice, but is it worth spending money on an XB1 if you could just spend it on pre-ordering all the new games coming out this year for the PS4

I have both but enjoy my time on Xbox more. I have more real life friends on the PS4 but I personally like the Xbox better by the dashboard and the features and such i haven't touched the PS4 a lot since i got it (December) and haven't played it since February. Up to you but make sure its not a waste of your money..

If you have enough time to play both then go for it but if you feel that you rarely have the time to play then just choose one, I have an xbox one so I will surely tell you to choose the xbox one lol. I would just keep one so I can keep up with the games. I hate transitioning but that's just me.

I've had the PS4 and the Xbox One since the day they've launched, I haven't even turned on my PS4 in at least 6 months but play the Xbox One everyday. In the end it's going to be your personal preference.

I own both consoles but I prefer the PS4 over the XbOne because of graphics and certain features. Both are nice consoles and they both have their pros and cons. I suggest getting both consoles so you can play with friends either way!

No way! I'm in the same boat. Me and my younger bro have xbones. He wants a PS4 because his mates all have it and I want it for the exclusives. Only problem is it will be me who buys it. Been thinking about this for a while now too. Hmmm, decisions decisions.
