I have now installed everything. I tried hooking it up to my monitor via HDMI. It isn't getting any signal. Some USB ports work and some don't.

Also, after some time it automatically turns off by itself. Usually quickly, or after a little while.

This is my first time building a PC.

have you got any VGA/DVI cables as im not sure if you can plug that directly into the graphics card. you'd have to look online because im not an expert. i know my problem was i had my cable just plugged into the back of the computer and the not the graphics card itself.

Make sure all your RAM is installed tightly and then try again.

Did your motherboard come with a motherboard speaker?

Make sure all cables/components are plugged in properly and in the correct places and are you using hdmi or vga/dvi?
