It's better to start earlier than later when looking for a part time job, even if it's for a few hours week. It's good resume padding, as when you get older it's hard to find a job when you have nothing to show.
Then again, you should never let work interfere with your school work as it's important to keep up in all your classes.
If anyone is looking for a job right now or waiting to apply, the earlier the better as a lot of college kids are going to be looking for summer jobs.

I work for Amazon. Not customer service, but in the warehouse. It's the actual hands-on part of the company. It's pretty fun, and the money/hours is decent, it's what's putting me through college.

yeah I do I work at Publix. Its a groery chain in the Southern part of the US mainly Florida
