Okay so I got my computer a little more than a year ago, not future proofing it at all (my mistake). But this summer or maybe even sooner I was looking to upgrade what I have...

I'm gonna need help with that though, I got out of the loop and can't even remember how I built the dang thing in the first place

The build I purchased is as follows:
Case- Rosewill LINE-M - Micro ATX Mini
Motherboard- MSI A78M-E45 FM2+ / FM2 AMD A78 (Bolton D3)
CPU- AMD Athlon X4 750K Trinity Quad-Core 3.4GHz Socket FM2 100W AD750KWOHJBOX Desktop Processor - Black Edition
GPU- SAPPHIRE DUAL-X 100365L Radeon R9 270 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card With BOOST & OC
RAM- G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866
PSU- Thermaltake TR2 TR-600 600W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply

Obviously I'd like to save as much as I can, but I was thinking of a new case, motherboard, cpu, Crossfire GPU and add another stick of RAM. I have a nice 55inch 1080p monitor and all other accessories. Let's set a budget of say 600-800 because I can last another summer on this build. Hopefully being able to max GTA V and the new Battlefront once that comes out. If you help me greatly, I can reward you (Gold possibly).

Thank you all for the help in advance!

In all honesty with a budget as high as 600 to 800 you might as well sell your current PC and get a couple of hundred for it then build an entirely new system for 1000.

That being said a budget of 1000 will get you a very nice PC indeed, I will wait for someone better than me to recommend a build for you.

If you don't have the money to upgrade already, this is pretty pointless. Come back when you have the money for your upgrades and we can help. P.S, 2x 270's in XFire wouldn't be smart. You don't run two lower end GPUs, it just doesn't make sense, you get one higher end GPU and then if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, you can add a 2nd.

My next two pay checks were both going into this build and I average 350 every other week, not really an issue here.

However I was also considering buying a newer better GPU, but the cheaper option is to buy another smaller one correct? Or is it the other way around.

With this in mind, what is the best way of going about selling a used PC? Is there any market for that besides ebay or is that the only way to go?

Sorry for so many questions, I'm just trying to make my way back into the PC gaming industry after leaving for a bit.

If you can easily get that much and want to put it in to your PC, then yes, a new build would make more sense tbh. You could re-use your RAM and possibly HDD. It's easier to sell components bit by bit than it is to sell a full system anyway. No, you should not run two 270's in XFire. You should change your single 270 for a higher end GPU. You should build a new PC(if that's what you want to do), re-use components that you can, and then sell the rest of your system piece by piece on eBay/craiglist/gumtree etc.

Okay then this is seeming like the route to go, is it possible for you to price me one on PartPicker for $800-900? I'll keep the RAM and HDD, but would like a SSD. I'm not sure how hard it is to stay AMD either but I was thinking of anything higher than FX-6300. Unless of course Intel works better for you.

Add an aftermarket cooler to OC the 4690k when, and if you want.
