Im looking to buy a Gaming PC to play games like CS-GO and G-mod and maybe some others , but i have a budget of about £500 and most of the PC's ive came across for that price are called 'AMD' instead of 'INTEL' , so whats the difference and whats better for price

AMD are only really useful for APU rigs right now. AM3+ is a dead socket. FM2+ is very much alive though. APUs are really only for very tight budget builds where a dedicated GPU just isn't affordable. For your budget, you should be getting a decent Intel rig. Like this;

Lovely little build, will max 1080p ezpz, easy upgradability to an i5/i7/Xeon. SSD for your OS and a game or two.
