SFC /scannow

This checks to see if any Windows files are corrupted in any way which might be causing the BS and odd issues that your having.

Yeah i did this before no issues.

Tried a lot of stuff tbh.. Coming back as a TDR issue though. So gonna try a few more things later/tomorrow.

Updated the post if anyone has any input would appreciate it.

If you've tried a different GPU and it's not looking like a software issue, then you're going to have to look at the motherboard and PSU - they're the only two things that will be interacting with it.

Make sure you have the correct motherboard drivers installed (they are notoriously poor sometimes).

Do you have a PSU to spare that can run the 285? (if not, use a cheap one to power the 7***, it had the same symptoms?).

If the PSU comes back clean i'd look into RMAing the Motherboard.


However - keep researching in the meantime, it could turn out to be a software issue still.

I am sure you have already checked, but is there any chance you may have installed the wrong driver? for a different model? Just pointing it out!

Yeah i believe so, my 7770 only uses 1 x 6pin but he said the same happened with that, but using a GPU that doesn't require any Power connectors it works fine which led me to think it was the PSU.

Ah i see, sorry didn't see you'd tried something using PCI-only. Yeah, i'[d imagine it's a PSU error then.

From that Speccy screenshot you provided, it looks like your running from Intel HD graphics?

If you are running that, have you tried disabling it or if your not, have you tried just running the on board graphics?

Yeah it running off the dedicated GPU ill go round his house tomorrow and use the IGPU see if its any different. Ill post back results.
