Hey guys!
Im upgrading my pc and Iam wondering if its worth it if i wait some months and save up for the "Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4gb" instead of upgrading now with a "ASUS Radeon R9 290 4GB DirectCuII OC".

They games i usually play are CS:GO, Battlefield 4, Gta V and some other games like h1z1 etc. I mean.. Is the Zotac much better to run theese games than the Radeon card.

Thanks!

Both cards destroy at 1080p; if you want 1080p get the 290. However if you're going to play at 1440p the 970 wins.

Well, are your case and PSU going to support a 290? A GTX 970 shouldn't be that much more expensive than a 290, but if you're willing to wait, do it, because the new AMD cards should be coming fairly soon.

Yes, Im either going to choose a build you helped me out with or another one who a friend of mine helped me out with, since the "OC" version is no longer availaible to buy for the 290x Im guessing that It's better if I go with the 970 instead, same price..almost, or what do you think of theese 2

This one : http://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/7932731/2015-04-26 THIS one is almost 300$ more expensive though.

Or this one: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RW9VRB with my old HDD (2tb), 12gb RAM, Fractal design 650W integra, OD.

My budget was somewhere between 900-980, So theese 2 builds are kinda over and under my budget, but yeah

Oh no yeah, that 750W unit will be more than enough for the 290x. 290x and GTX 970 performance is pretty similar so just get the 290x if you want something right now. I'm pretty sure you'll even manage XFire 290x's on that PSU but amen't positive about that. Again, you could wait for the new AMD cards if you wish, and get a 390/390x or something, your PSU will handle them and they'll out-perform both the 970, and 290x.
