Basically I have a Xbox 360 Slim, I want to keep the original fan in for the time being but would also like to add an extra fan or maybe a few fans, I'm also planning on getting a whisper fan in the future and dual nanding it so it's got to be kept as cool as possible!

Many thanks

I don't think its necessary. I think Xbox fixed all overheating problems when they switched over from the fat model to the slim model.

I don't know though because mine still seems to get really hot and it's had nothing done to it at all, I've cleaned all the dust out and everything?

That could be the issue rodent but I'm not 100% sure haven't taken the heatsink out yet? Don't want to until I've got thermal paste otherwise it'll be no Xbox for me

Replace your thermal paste. if this doesn't work, then you will need to either reflow or reball the gpu/cpu chip because some of the solder balls are getting weak

Adding extra fans will not help if the solder balls are weak

Well I was planning on adding extra fans anyway just for that personal customisation blue LED whisper fan and probably a few little fans I have from old pc's, possibly drilling holes at the bottom and have the console higher off the surface I have it on
