i have to buy a new case bigget then 10.5 inches in length and i have a 600w PSU the question wasn't what psu do i need or what case i have to have in order to fit the big gfx card.

That's not true. As long as you have a PCIe 1.0b or later x16 slot, it will work. You don't even need all 16 lanes for full performance. If your board doesn't have a current PCIe slot, you've got bigger problems. PCIe cards are backwards-compatible to 1.0b, so a 3.0 card will not have any performance decrease when used in a 1.0b x16 slot.

The board you have may be fine and you can save money. This is why we ask you to post your current specs with their model numbers.

Still need to know the make and model of the PSU as it maybe time for an upgrade.

Any board that supports an AMD 83XX CPU will have a PCIe 2.0 x16 slot. What this doesn't tell us is the model of your power supply and case. They have no software connection to your computer, so Speccy can't "see" them.

price range is whatever for the motherboard as if im going to get one , it might as well be good and in GBP.

Take off you side panel and locate the power supply and there should be some kind of sticker indicating the Make and wattage of the unit.

As for the Case find some kind of indication showing the make of the case and try find a model number or something if you can't just take a picture and post it here and we will see if we can see what make and model the case is.

its a 550w and the case is too small for a 970.
