Tomorrow I'm going to look at a 2001 Kia Sephia, from what I've been told there's nothing drastically wrong with it. It's only 800 dollars which is reasonable for my first car purchase.

Is there anything I should be aware of when I go look at this car, and is there anything I should know about this car?

I did some research but I'm not a guy who is knowledgeable when it comes to whats under the hood etc.

Best thing is to look at all the fluids, like if the oil is very black it needs changed and trans only thing for that is if it smells burnt its got a bad trans but other than that you should be good

Agree, would be better to get an old BMW or something that has been well engineered.

I have picked up a 525D for £400 which is around $600.
