This is usually to do with new hardware. Have you upgraded something recently?

As said above..Try getting into the Bios. Depending on your Board, this'll be either F1-F2, F11-F12 or the Del Key.
If you can get into the Bios, let us know. If you can't and you did upgrade your Hardware recently, simply re-set your Bios. To do so, it's a small silver battery on your Motherboard. Just take it out for a minute and put it back in. Make sure your PC is off

I liked the comment about the PC being off lol hate to imagine the disaster if it wasn't.
I had a similar problem, most probably HDD failure which is stopping the boot agent from continuing.

The computer was trying to boot from your USB when it was plugged in. Your boot list clearly has the drive with your OS as your secondary boot drive and when you boot with a USB already plugged in, it's trying to boot an OS from your USB, which it clearly doesn't have. To stop this, go in to yout BIOS and re-arrange your boot list so that the drive with your OS is your primary boot drive. If you can't be bothered doing that, just boot your system without any USBs, and plug them in once the computer has booted in to your OS.
