Hello everyone. I have a jb question. What's the difference between SEMI jailbreak and a normal JB? and can you semi jailbreak iOS 8? Thanks a lot!!

Semi jailbreak is downloading some apps that can be considered jailbreak apps through safari, but you don't get the full jailbreak experience that you would with normal jailbreak. As of right now there is no jailbreak for IOS 8.3.

Semi (tethered) jailbreak is when your device has been jailbroken but everytime you reboot your device you need the jailbreak tools help to boot back into jailbreak mode. Normal (untethered) jailbreak is when your device is jailbroken and can reboot without the need of your computer.

The above user is referring to installing an App that has been signed by Apple but is not in the AppStore, Movie Box for example
