So either my pc or xbox is missing something because when I try to connect the tool to my xbox it just gets a error. I have had this on all tools.
Any ideas?

You might not have the right plugins, XRPC, JRPC, JRPC2, RPC, all depends on what the tool needs. You also might not have Xbox Neighborhood.
