They're literally destroying their own city... I'm almost ashamed to be a part of this generation. Some good has come from us so far but a majority of our generation needs to grow the **** up and realize that WE ARE THE FUTURE, and as of right now our future as we know it is F U C K E D.

Let them destroy their city. Harsh, but it will take something like that for people to stop this new type of "protest" in the 21st century.

This is a strange view point. Cops kill more white people than blacks, and how many whites are protesting? Cops aren't always the "best" with their judgments, but with everything going on right now, I'd be pulling out my gun on anyone walking up to me with any kind of funny look on.

Sadly this debate goes far deeper than can be actually discussed on a gaming site.

Long story short:
  • No not all cops are bad.
  • Yes there is an overuse of unnecessary force.
  • No this isn't a new phenomena.
  • Yes some cops have been and always will be dirty.
  • No people should not be destroying their city.
  • Yes a clear message needs to be sent and enforced.
  • This simply just illustrates how history will repeat itself.
  • BREAK THE CYCLE!

Shoot people if they resist arrest?
Maybe one day you'll grow up and realize how absolutely insane that is.

The Baltimore Riots are a huge overreaction (in my opinion).

There is no need to plummet a whole city into complete anarchy, over the death of one man. The riots are a self-centred act aimed against the government. Let's be honest, the majority of those participating in the riots are just looking for an excuse to start looting and pillaging.

Yes, the death of Freddie Gray could of been avoided. I guess, the police should at least try to resort to other means of detaining suspected criminals, other than gunning them down.

I feel like history is repeating itself. Look at the Baltimore Riots in 1968, the riots from 68' aren't too dissimilar to the riots of 2015.

It's not just about the death of one man though.
It's the result of a build up of police brutality and racial profiling to them.

I don't think it's an overreaction, and I think it's strange how people are caring more about the broken windows and burning cars than the deaths of people killed by police brutality.
