I have moved the black cables and I'm not sure if I have put them back in correctly.

Those are the connectors for your front panel, you connected them in wrong place lol. Reconnect them all on the pins to the left which has jfp1 under it. the fp meaning front panel.

You should plug them in but you dont have to.

What motherboard have you got? are you connecting them in the right order? Checked the manual?

Is your powersupply on

What i ment was is the switch on the back of it on lol.

What cpu do you have? Have you just build this pc? first time trying to start it?

Firstly that powersupply is absolutely terrible. Wouldnt be surprised if it set on fire a week from now.
