I just need somewhere to vent very quickly, this has been bugging me for a long time lol.

Almost all PC building threads i see, there is always someone like "lol wow nerd u overpayed go kill urself lelelellee". And like, i understand they're trying to help, but it's their money, let them spend it how they want too.

Now that i got that done, now for the real rant. A few days ago i made a thread about my dream PC i had built, and at the very beginning of the thread, i said "yes i know i overpaid, i had the money to build the dream pc i wanted for a very long time". And OHHHHHH BOY, just 6 replies later some stupid shit is like "Lol, you overpaid so much why the hell would you do that".

I don't know, it just makes me mad that people do things like that.

Especially when you know you have overpaid, and then you tell them, and they still say something about it.

1. I've never seen anybody tell someone to kill themselves over a component.

2. Not one person commented on how you overspent on your post. They just suggested a little tweak here and there.

But, I understand what you're saying as well. I know some people will be a little upset if you don't buy something they wanted you to buy. But then again, some people will buy something for say a GTX 960, but for cheaper you could've bought an R9 285 and that would have better performance. ( again, not in connection w/ you, just making an example )

About the first two, not directly of course.

They just make it seem like that, and they imply it like crazy lol.

No, there's not.

You posted and asked for their opinions.

Well, when you do stuff like the pic below, of course we are going to flip out.

A 900D is a stupid case to buy unless you fully utilize it with a 2 way custom loop, multiple radiators in push/pull and what not.

A 900D is supposed to be kitted out, not for a normal rig. To be fair, it is your rig, but your choice of case is a bit off. Even a 700D would have been better for you

:thatguy: :thatguy: :thatguy: :thatguy: was an opinion and my personal view... [you'll see why I mentioned that later]

Lets take some quotes from your topic of which, you claim to say that some of us "pc builders" say "Lol, you overpaid so much why the hell would you do that"

Craig wrote That build would be frikkin epic, but the cable management and CPU cooler ruins it for me...

It's a nice build, just needs some finishing touches.

*Bookmarked the topic to show people why they shouldn't buy the 900D

As Craig said, need finishing touches, fill up that monster of a 900D but good start non-the less

dat 'cable management' tho.

Could be a nice rig with some touch ups tho.

-DCFC wrote That case is far too small.

The power of the rig is great but like these guys said you need some finishing touches to cable management, if i was spending so much on a rig i would put an AIO liquid cooler in there as it looks like Darth Vader has parked his space ship on top of your CPU

Zayev wrote buys 900D
doesn't custom loop or even 360AIO
am dissapoint

Alexyy wrote Reasons to not buy a 900D thread?

I did not see one post saying that you over paid for anything.

Your posting your build which isnt in the Show Us Your PC sticky. Your basically asking for opinions and constructive criticism and that is what you got.

A dream PC is different for everyone. Its not supposed to be budget orientated. We get that. What you dont get is taking criticism and acting on it. Your rig is obviously unfinished. Is it bad? No. Is it great? No. Would I buy it? No. But you would expect that because its your dream PC.

TL;DR - Take criticism in a constructive way, dont let it get to you and act on it.
