Looking to upgrade my graphics card before I buy GTA V. I wanna run GTA V and for it to be not laggy or anything at all and be smooth.

Whats the make and model of your powersupply and case?

Can't say how it'll do on GTA V as I don't have it, but the 285 is able to max pretty much every game 1080p ezpz.

R9 285 out-performs the GTX 960.

I have never owned one, but Sanctyy is correct it will out perform the 960. Just make sure you get it from a reputable company; so if you have any issues with it you can return it and get a new one.

Well they are very similar in performance. It mainly depends on the game but in majority of cases the 285 out performs the 960 but not by a whole lot.
