I am having this problem where if a program tabs me out of a game, I get a black screen and can't Control+Alt+Delete and windows key doesnt work, however I can still here everything in game and on teamspeak.
More information: I was in Arma 3, tabbed out and then copied some files from my usb stick to my desktop. I then tabbed back into Arma and coninued playing, about 10seconds later I was tabbed out by the copying process and then got the black screen.
Note: I then have the only option to restart my pc (holding down power button). When I then load the pc up it starts really slow and programs 'not responding' happens seconds after the application is opened.
Any help would be great,

this is why i recommend windowed/windowed fullscreen as full screen games cause issues like this way to fix it is to wait and see if it doesnt respone hard restart your pc

Does this happen on all games or just some? I get this problem on some games but I don't have to reboot to fix it.
If this happens only on some just change them to window mode when you wanna use the desktop and turn them back to fullscreen when you're done.

You'll usually get this problem if alt-tabbing when the game is on a load screen, I often crash on CS:GO if I alt-tab whilst loading.
Try to keep the game focused until it has finished loading fully or just use a windowed/borderless mode instead.

I've had a similar problem too this before. The way i solved it was to downgrade to Java 7. Java 8 doesn't seem to like games for some unknown reason. I'm not sure if thats just my computer or java 8 does actually have a problem with games.
