Right now I have a single 970 on a Corsair TX650M PSU, but I'm going to get a second 970 at the end of this month when I get my paycheck. After some research online it seems it would be safer to upgrade my PSU as well to a 750W. Although I don't really know much about PSU's and would like some recommendations please.

Best PSU if you're going to sli 970's.

Edit = what's the rest of your components?

Cheers for the recommendation. Probably should have mentioned where I'm from but, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is the same PSU as the one you linked right?

And I have a 3570K @ 4.5GHz on an ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 with 8GB of RAM.

Sorry, forgot to ask - but yes that is it. Very dependable power supply.

Alright thanks. Just a quick question though there's [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and there's also [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . What's the difference between the two? I notice that the second one says SLI/XFire support.

Edit: I derped. Didn't see the watt difference.

They both support SLI/Xfire the only difference is the 850w version has more power but it doesn't translate to better quality as they're built to be equally as good.

You won't need more than 750w's with 3 970's anyway.

Oooh, one more quick question. Will the SLI bridge come with the GPU or will it be with my Motherboard box?

My recommendation is that you keep the PSU you have because it has the output and connectors for SLI. I doubt there would even be issues in a worst-case scenario of synthetic stress tests like OCCT GPU and CPU at the same time with everything overclocked.
