Well i started CS: Source years back and played that a whole lot, then i went to league of legends and back to runescape then i started playing csgo, (it was like 2 years after i stopped playing source that i went to csgo)

I started at Gold Nova 3 when i got my first rank after the placement matches, didnt know much about the maps, nor tactics and the recoil on different guns, making wise decisions such as when to rotate and when to save your gun instead of going balls deep 1v5. I was stuck around MG1/ MG2 for around 2 months and then i skyrocketed up to mge, then dmg a week later and LE / LEM within 3 weeks

Also its good to know pop flashes for the maps as this will help alot in the lower ranks, Im not too familiar with many pop flashes/ smoke spots but I have taught myself some crazy smokes and flashes which i dont see anywhere on videos :l

You were Gold Nova 3 after your placement matches and didn't even know when to rotate and save? You must have really been carried.
