Simple logo's are always the best in my opinion. For having such a small brief i think you have came up with some fantastic work!

I feel so bad that logo work such as this gets the most ridiculous responses, sadly 90% of the viewers in this section have only a Clan based understanding of anything graphical. I mean FFS they call a avatar/profile image a logo, so I mean can you really expect good feedback here? Anywho, based on the shiesty pitch you were given I think the outcome serves the buyer well.

Im_Saxby wrote Its ok i guess but there is too much blank space try to make it smaller or include something as a general backgound rather than the blue!

Good start though especially with such a basic brief

A logo doesn't have stuff in the background.
It's only there for presentation purposes.

It's a negative space design. I rely on blank space to pull these concepts off lol.

Thanks for your advice though.

I think he's used to "GFX" with like 20 grunge textures in the background with flares overlay.

What is this GFX you speak of sir?
Im pretty sure that is not a word ....

That's the joke. We use "GFX" sarcastically as a term for sub-par generic boring designs.

Onto the logo, making the hat into a book as well is brilliant.
It works so well, and you're the only one I know who could pull that off so well.
I also like how it merges into the "i".
The font is a nice, smart pick as well.

I can never find anything I would change in your logos.

In my head...

The top of the hat was ideal to add pages of a book because of the square shape. But to execute it correctly was another story lol.

Guys read the title. It's a logo concept. It's supposed to be simple. I'd say 9/10.
