1.) I'm not a guy.
2.) This topic wasn't for attention, I was actually being serious.

AuraEzence wrote if none of you can spot that this guy is obviously trolling and obviously wants attention for some whack reason you're all dumb. Stop feeding the troll.

I got swatted awhile ago, only because all my information was leaked online. it was pretty crazy I was on the news, and I got interviewed. lol I even recorded myself going outside when it happened. kinda weird.

However, I highly doubt this guy can swat you. He would have to know your address

Yeah, I was worried because he had my IP address from being in a game with him on Call of Duty: Black Ops I.

I know many people have already said this, but you have nothing to worry about. People on the internet will make empty threats all the time. Yeah, the person may have your IP, it's not hard to get someone's IP over Xbox, but having your IP alone isn't enough for him to do much. It's not going to show your actual address, only the base vicinity of where you're located. Yes, IF he was going to do it, he could have given your IP over to the authorities and they would go from there, but if he was going to do anything, it would have already happened. You're fine, you don't need to stress over it, for one, if it's someone on CoD screaming they're going to SWAT you, boot you offline, "hack" you because of a game, they're clearly not going to be smart enough to even begin to attempt making a fake SWAT call, let alone even try to make it so they won't get in trouble for when that false SWAT call comes back to bite them in the ass. Like I said earlier, people always make fake threats online, grabbing an IP doesn't matter if that person doesn't know what to do with it. People on Xbox can tell you every IP they want in that lobby, party or game, doesn't mean they're going to do anything, let alone attempting a SWAT call because I can guarantee almost every single one of them if they were to attempt it, would do it without thinking and end up getting themselves in some serious problems.

Thank you for that. I just wanted to get some answers from people, because I was worried that day. But yeah, he never sent the SWAT to my house. I don't know why I believed him. I guess I believed him because I've heard of other people getting SWATTED, and I really didn't want that to happen to me. I've had a lot of people tell me that they were going to "hack" me, but I never really believed any of them. I don't understand why I believed the guy that said that he was going to SWAT me. Maybe because he was the first person that has ever said that to me. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for the taking the time out of your day to write back this long of a reply. I really appreciate it. I hope you have a good day.

If you're too young to realise that what the guy was saying was a heap of BS, you shouldn't be on Live in the first place :stern:

Move out, change your identity, start a new life.

He is serious, the SWAT are on their way now.

I wish you the best of luck.
