Well, i'm looking to purchase the parts or buy a pc, the reasoning for this is because my current computer has bad fps(mac mini) on csgo around 30-70 fps, if i had a budget of 400-600 pound will i be able to get a stable fps on medium graphics i'm looking to get around 130-200 fps consistently, don't know much about computers so don't be to harsh. I'm looking for suggestions or even better link me.

Do you need peripherals? Will you overclock CPU/GPU?

Do you have a monitor, keyboard and mouse?

If no this will be your best option [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

This will get you the frame rates your looking for.

If you do have a monitor, I'm going to guess it's 1080p, so you don't really need a GTX 970. I'd say you'd be better off with a mid end card and 8GB RAM, as well as an SSD, instead of sacrificing all of that for the 970.

If you don't need peripherals, this is my $0.02;

8GB RAM, SSD, 285 will have no problem maxing the majority of games at 1080p, nice case. DCFC's suggestions is your best bet for GPU performance. BlackMyst's is your best option if you need peripherals.

I just did a quick benchmark with my 290 and it averages about 290fps on cs go so im sure the 285 with be getting 200+

This, personally, is what I'd get.

CS-GO and other similar games only use 1/2 cores.

285 will max out that game easily. Even a 270x would have but the 285 is so close in price wise, its a bit stupid to get a 270x now.

Got a nice case for you in case [ dat pun doe ] you want to upgrade to a better looking rig. Mind you, that rig wouldn't look to bad to be fair.

Whacked a cheap SSD in there too for super SPEED.

Many chocies here, non of them would be a bad one.
