I was just wondering if i should jailbreak my iphone 5 and some advice about it. I have already jailbroken before, my ipod 4G but i don't really know if i should or not seeing its a phone, i am unaware what it will do to a phone instead of an ipod. Thanks

It all depends on personal preference. I always jailbreak my phone, but it depends on what you want to do with it. I like to get unlimited skips on pandora and other small tweaks that I feel make my phone perform better and make it more unique. What are you interested in doing with it?

Jailbreaking does not affect anything to do with your carrier. That is unless you do something stupid to mess with it. Just be careful of what you download. For example, don't download iFile and start messing with random lines of text unless you know what you're doing. Other than that, pretty much everything is safe.
If you're worried about battery life or speed, just don't download anything that will be too hard on your phones processor.
