Yeah that build is fine for those purpose's, however you got an unlocked CPU, a z97 motherboard, and no aftermarket cooler? I would recommend something like the hyper 212 evo for a cheap one if you are planning on OCing. Also if you have room in your budget I would recommend an SSD.

Theres no point getting a k series cpu if your not going to overclock, especially not if your going to use a h97 motherboard.

also get the msi 285, it performs exactly the same and is alot cheaper.

capable of maxing out majority of games

Whats your budget?

And will you be overclocking? If you are then you're going to have to buy an aftermarket cooler.

The 4690k is an unlocked CPU. The H97 motherboard is more limited than the Z series and doesn't support overclocking, which is the only logical reason to spend more on an unlocked CPU. Get this motherboard instead;

It's cheaper and once you add a decent cooler, will overclock. If you're not overclocking, save money and get an i5-4460 instead, with this motherboard;

This mobo also support XFire so you can add a 2nd AMD GPU in XFire. There is also no reason to waste £60 on the GPU.

if your looking to be doing loads of skyrim mods

Get a 280(x) as you'll go through 2GB's insanely quick.

280x is £170, 290 is only £30. 280x isn't a logical purchase IMHO.

OP-Why remove the SSD?

A little under £15 over budget will get you this;

You'll be using stock cooler, but it'll be fine.
