I plan to upgrade my i5 4690k to a Corsair h100i but is there a sorta cheap alternative fan anyone could recommend other than the stock intel fan?

I kno I'm not upgrading the cpu. I am looking for a good cpu cooler that is cheap and good. I was looking at the Hyper 212 EVO but wanted to see what else is out there for the bang for buck.

The one you listed is quite good for the price, but everyone has their different opinions.

It doesn't get much better than the Corsair H Series liquid cooling in my opinion. I have an H100i in my system:)

Corsair's Hydro series are way too overhyped. They're not that good their price. I mean, they're fine but for the same price, or a little less you can get better coolers for the most part. Other than the H110i GT, it's a great cooler for a great price. What cooler you should get depends on your budget, currency and case though. The 212 EVO will be fine for stock clock speeds, or slight overclocks but you won't get the best out of your CPU.
Budget? Currency? Case? and while you're at it, the rest of your specs would be useful(download Speccy and post a screenshot). Might as well include your PSU as well, it might be worth replacing if it's poor quality so would be good to know. Would you prefer air cooling or an AIO?

I have my i74790K overclocked at 4.5GHz and render 2Hour vids max I see it hit is like 75. Other than that yes it may be a little overpriced but meh good quality, great brand awesome lights haha no regret with my purchase. If not Nzxt offer a few good closed loop liquid coolers which are nice.

I'm not saying the Hydro series is bad, but there are better. Corsair are just over-hyped as a brand as well IMO. Their RAM is nothing special, since well, none of it is. Other than their 128GB DDR4 kits, I suppose but only because they're one of the first to offer that. Their PSUs are mainly shit, with a few exceptions. Their cases are usually pretty poor, unless you're spending a fair amount and even then, there are usually better cases for a similar price, or less. Their AIOs are the same. They do have some decent SSDs, but again, usually something just as good, or better for a similar price. They mostly offer mediocre components that are often over-priced, and people jump at the chance to own Corsair products, simply for the name. Example;

Nepton 240M provides better cooling and LiqTech 240 is significantly better built, both are only slightly more expensive than an H100i.
