So for a while my Call of Duty 4 disc has been broke, it has been scratched around the disc reader part though when I insert it into my Xbox 360 it loads great though after like one game of multiplayer it says disc unreadable at the end of every game(Campaign does not work at all). I heard about a toothpaste method, would this fix it or is there any other ways I could fix it within the next 30 minutes?
Thanks for any help.

If you have a mate that has the game then borrow it and save it to your hard drive and then you can give it back and you should be able to load up and play the game with your dodgy one

I've don't that for all my games and I world at war really needed it looks like someone took a knife to the back of it but after I borrowed a mates and saved it to my hard I've it was all good it boots the game from the disk and after that the xbox goes slightly quieter and it just plays the game from the one on the hard drive

Good luck

Sadly I can't get to any friends that have it at the moment.

Might give this a try, would CEX fix it or how much could I buy a used one in CEX for?
