Does anybody know if comments on posts count towards your post count? I have always wondered but I would really like to know!

They count towards the Post count but not the rep count if that makes sense

you get 1 rep power for every 25 posts you make

you also get 1 rep power for every 100 rep points you get from other members.

Reputation points are given when you have been very helpful to another member and they decide if they want to give you rep. Go to your profile and scroll down. Click on reputation and you should see something like this

There you will see that i gave you 50 rep points. It doesnt mean you will have 50 reputation power, But , 50 reputation points. I have was to give you another 50 rep points, then your reputation power would now be 7, instead of 6.

New comments, video comments, survey comments, etc go towards you post count. When you comment on someone's post, it counts towards your post count.

The only posts that count toward your reputation though are forum posts.

100 rep points = 1 rep power
25 posts = 1 rep power
