So I was on Instagram earlier and some kid I follow took a picture of another guys car a called his car out as a ricer and trash. So some other person tags the guy who owns it and he end up getting all defensive about it. So this is what I want to know...
Is this a Ricer?
96 Miata w/ 58mm Turbo & Air Ride
IMO I would call this a ricer but that is just me let me know what you guys think

I'm not a car guy but when I see someone say air ride, I assume it is a lowered car. Lowered foreign cars are rice cakes in my book.

Truth be told any Japanese car is considered a ricer no matter what kind of turbo or air ride you list.

I would need to see a pic of the car to determine if it is a ricer, but from the description I would say no.

My definition of a ricer is a car without turbo or engine modified. If you have, say a honda, with a fart can, a big spoiler, body kit, then i would say yes, but if that honda would have a modified engine say a turbo or supercharger, then that is no joke.
So no, i dont think you have a ricer car.

Not all cars are ricers. Ricer cars were first introduced in Japan (also know as rotary cars). These cars are owned by people who take pride in their work and express themselves through their car. Some people like their car looking clean and fresh, some others look at it at a different perspective and make their cars look weird and crazy.
