I am trying to decide between these two monitors, for my dual setup:

Now the Asus I can get for about a 120 dollars after the Mail-in rebate cause they are having a deal where it's a 140 after you enter a promo code. I wouldn't mind getting this as it's a good deal for what seems to be a pretty decent monitor, and it would give me money to buy some games from the Summer Sale coming up. However, I do believe the Benq is the better monitor, but would cost about 100 dollars more, which would mean no summer sale. What do you guys think. Thanks for the help.

Neither. Both are shitty TN panels and that BenQ panel makes me want to whitey. Either grab a 1440p panel if you can afford it and will be able to run it properly;

or get this for 1080p;

The 1440p panel I linked is meh, it's not bad but it's the cheapest 1440p option.

This is my build [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] so almost certain I can run at 1440, but really looking for a 1ms response time as I am into competitive gaming.

There's basically no difference in 1ms - 5ms fyi.

*spends almost $3k on rig*
*looks at 1080p TN panels*
*thinks response time makes a difference*

It takes like 16ms for a 60Hz screen to refresh, so when you buy a "1ms SOOPER FAST RESPONSE TIME" monitor, you're not getting 1ms response times anyway. Anything between 1ms and 8ms will be fine, focus on the panel itself, how good quality it is, how well it's built, how good the colours and viewing experience is, not useless specs like response time.
