So i want to get a gaming headset for COD and xbox in general but im stuck on what to buy. I dont really want to be spending loads on one so if you guys could help me out that would be great!

i would suggest turtle beach x12 there good quality and cheap

Well, Astro Gaming headsets are the top of the line right now, but they're not too cheap. It'd be a good investment but if you're looking to not spend too much, I suggest looking at Tritons or your good ol' classic Turtle Beaches.

I would say turtle beach x12s. Theyre not expensive and they work great. If you intend on being a serious gamer for a long time, I would say don't waste your money on a cheaper headset, just shell out for a really nice pari, like astros, that will last you a long time.

Astro A40s are pretty damn good! Triton Warheads with 7.1 surround sound are actually pretty good. I used them in BO2 and you can hear footsteps damn well!
The Astro A40s go for about £130
