Alright guys since the people from TTG helped me build my PC in the first place I'm looking for the some help again.

My Graphics card recently broke

I was playing CS one day and my whole computer completely black screened on both of my monitors. I turned it off and on and it stayed black screen. So I opened up my computer and reset my drivers through taking something out and back in (I can't remember what it was off the top of my head, someone that knows computers really well helped me) then it started working again.

I started installing all the drivers again to get my computer sorted and when I installed the driver for my Graphics Card and restart my computer, it will load and then blue screen restart, I tried installing earlier drivers and even the new beta ones, but this lead to the same problem or after it shows the windows start, it restarts the whole computer and says windows has a problem.

I've looked everywhere for a solution and nothing has worked, everything else seems to be perfectly fine so I'm 90% sure it's the Graph card, so I may as well upgrade it. I'm not the best with computers but I know a little bit so I could use some help.

The stuff I can remember about my comp is that my motherboard is : GA-78LMT-S2P
And the graphics card is : AMD Radeon R9 270x gaming 2G

Thanks for the help guys!

RMA the card? If you want an upgrade, we obviously can't help without a budget and currency. We also need to know what case and PSU you have, for compatibility.

Yeah sorry got caught up writing all the back story like an idiot. I've had it for over a year and a half so it's too late for that really :/

The PSU that I have is the WinPower Plus 500W Power Supply - (PSU0755).

The case that I have is the Galaxy 3 Black PC Case.

The amount of money I have to spend on the card is around £220 ($337).

Cheers bud, so the PSU definitely has to be upgraded if I want that card? Plus is that card a lot better than the one I have now?

The problem with poor PSU's is if they break, they generally bring the whole system with them. You could power that card with your current PSU as the one Sanctyy suggested is the same wattage. However, the issue is that it will likely fail. It is wise to invest in a better PSU. It is basically like buying insurance... for very cheap... and a one time payment... on your expensive computer.

PSU needs to be upgraded regardless. RMA the 270x and sell it. The 280x will max pretty much every game at 1080p, opposed to the 270x which will play at med-high settings for more demanding games.
