People clearly just use it to boost their post count, post count shouldn't count in that section at all and watch how many people stop posting in that section, all you see is members posting the exact same stuff or similar, ''read the rules'' or ''stay active''

It depends really,Sometimes I'll post something like 'Welcome To TTG,Read the Rules,Stay active'
Other times I say 'Welcome to ttg,read the rules' But Yes I see people just post what u mentioned in the topic

If your saying it shouldn't count towards your post count then why should the forum even exsist

I get some people say the same things on every single post in the introduce yourself section but if you read people's post you can expand your post a little and you can explain more than just saying 'Stay active/Welcome to TTG

When i go in there i try to personalise each post. I have seen people just basically have things on C+P which is a bit weird.

tbh it really doesnt matter, i post in there to welcome new users. the sites dead enough as it is in the day. every little helps.
