My mic doesn't let me speak to any of my friends. I know for the most part that my connection is open headset is brand new and so is my controller. Has anyone else had this problem if so is their anyway to fix it

I have had this problem alot but what i did was leave party n wait a couple of hours or turn my xbox off then on.
