I would like to start off by saying I love Skyrim, as with previous ES titles I have spent a ridiculous amount of my life on but for some reason I dont seem to get the same experience or sense of achievement out of Skyrim as I did with Oblivion or Morrowind. The following article contains spoilers to those who have not finished the game.
To me Skyrim feels rushed, Dont get me wrong the graphics are outstanding, the physics are awesome even with the occasional bugs, But the main quest lines just dont seem like they had half the effort put in than the previous titles. The college of winterhold for example took me less than 2 hours to complete, compare that too Oblivion's and Morrowind's mage guild quest lines and it really isnt long at all. I remember when I first finished the college questline and was like is that really it? Whereas beating the King of worms in Oblivion seemeed like a chore to get up too that point and then to actually defeat him was really fun and engageing. And this brings me on too the game not being finished. When you finish the college quests you meet members of the Psyijic Order. Where do they go? I was certain that there would be DLC with them included in some way, This is also true for the civil war, once that finishes I was also certain you would be able to fight the Thalmor in future DLC. I don't know if I was just expecting more from the game, it seems since morrowind the game has become more and more streamlined and for the most part the focus was on graphics more than gameplay. With the new fallout announced I hope they will not make that mistake with it, and certainly not with the next Elder Scrolls.

Currently the Elder Scrolls Online is to be released on Xbox ONE. Can't wait for it, had it pre ordered for a while. Apparently it's marvellous, as I thought Skyrim was.
Skyrim is my favourite game of all time, prefer it to Oblivion.

Ive got TESO for pc and at first struggled to get into it but im back on now and enjoying it. Skyrim is an awesome game dont get me wrong and ive played it for days but I still preferred Morrowind over the two after it. After that HD mod for it it looks unbelievable.
